1. Who can attend?
All are welcome!!
The South African Gathering is not just for South Africans and people from neighbouring African countries -
introduce your Irish friends to our culture. The Gathering is perfect for all family members with many age-appropriate activities for those of all ages.
2. Can I purchase my ticket at the venue on the day of the event?
A limited number of tickets will be available on the day, but we highly advise buying ahead of time as tickets may be sold out before the event as has been the case in previous years.
3. How can I book camping?
One night's camping on Saturday the 6th July, will be available at the SA Gathering 2024.

4. Can I Braai / BBq at the campsite?
All braais must be off the ground and due to insurance restrictions we cannot allow wood firers.
5. Is there, food available to purchase?
There will be various food vendors selling boerewors rolls, bunny chow, hamburgers, chicken prego rolls, traditional African cuisine, traditional South African baked goods.
6. Can I bring my own alcohol?
No alcohol can be brought into the event. Alcohol must be purchased at the venue.
